Description
Scope and content: Oral history interview with Nashville businessman Thomas Charles (T.C.) Jones, conducted 10 April 2007 by James T. Havron as part of the Library Interviews series of the Nashville Public Library's Nashville Business Leaders Oral History Project. During the 1 hour interview, Jones discusses such topics as his childhood and education growing up in Nashville; his family; working for General Shoe Corporation; businesses and restaurants in downtown Nashville; and his involvement in the real estate business.

Biographical or Historical Data
Thomas Charles (T.C.) Jones was born in Nashville on 5 Aug. 1926. He grew up in East Nashville and held a variety of jobs before entering the real estate business, including delivering newspapers and working for the General Shoe Corporation. Jones died on 11 Apr. 2008.
