Description
880-09,This play tells a simple tale of two lovers who are forced to separate because of hostility between their families. On the way to attend her cousin's wedding in Kahloun, Zayoun's car breaks down near a village called Mais Elrim. The village is already tense because of a 20 year old feud between two families that is prohibiting a young couple in love, Na'man and Shahida, from marrying, the villagers exacerbating issues by taking sides with one family or the other. Zayoun wants to get to Kahloun as fast as she can because she's only a few hours away from the wedding and also because she has her cousin's wedding dress. She looks for the mechanic -- who turns out to be Na'man -- only to find out that he has closed down his shop because of a recent quarrel with Shahida, so Zayoun decides to help by bringing the families together.
